Hardware:

Solid brass hardware sets HEAVYLUX™ enclosures apart. It is designed to last and guaranteed for a lifetime. HEAVYLUX™ hardware is available in a variety of styles and finishes to complement any bath design features and fixtures.

Glass:

Heavy Glass is what makes the difference. HEAVYLUX™ enclosures are constructed of glass with a minimum thickness of 3/8 inch. ½ inch and ¾ inch glass are also very common. Options such as clear, crystal clear and textured and embossed glass are also available.

Glass Sealant:

There are a few glass sealant options on the market. HEAVYLUX™ offers the Tekon™ system exclusively. Tekon™ glass sealant is a two-part environmentally friendly application that creates a non-porous surface. The Alpha application binds carbon and oxygen blocking hydrolysis, making it super hydrophobic and repellant. Water beads up like quicksilver. The Beta application consists of co-polymers that prevent hard water, soap and other stains from adhering to the surface. Dirt rinses away leaving the glass sparkling clear and streak-less. Cleaning is far less of a chore.
